Ratatouille Birthday Parties & Party Ideas
There are some party kits available for Ratatouille and word is spreading about the movie. Remy is one popular rat!
If you would like to have a Ratouille themed birthday, consider these ideas.
- Make a
cake out of yellow cake mix with yellow frosting. Make the
cake look like a big block of cheese (use brown or gray to create holes for "swiss cheese". Put a Remy character on

- Find yellow and grey plates from the party supply store (or get ratatouille plates or party kits)

How about a Ratatouille pinata?

Make a centerpiece by placing cooking utensils in a tall pot, such as a soup pot. Place it on the party table, and surround it with bottles of spices and seasonings.

Have cheese wedges and Swiss cheese slices for an appetizer
- Decorate with Ratatouille balloons.
- Get a Ratatouille movie poster or look through this Ratatouille website for pictures that you can cut or print out and use as wall or chair decorations.
- Ladle Relay
Divide the children into teams. then divide the teams so that half of the children are on opposite sides of the play space.
Using soup ladles (two for each team), the players will pass and egg, ball, orange or whatever you choose from one player to the next. The first team to complete all fop the players wins!
If you are playing outdoors, you can adapt this party game so that the children are scooping water from a large soup pot running to pour the water into another pot, returning to give the ladle to the next player. First team to empty the pot wins.
